AIC Mines is a growth-oriented Australian resources company, primarily focused on building a robust portfolio of gold and copper assets across the country. The company’s strategy combines exploration, mine development, and targeted acquisitions to drive long-term value and operational expansion within the Australian mining sector. By investing in high-potential projects and operating assets, AIC Mines aims to establish itself as a leading producer of copper and gold.
At the core of its operations is the Eloise copper mine, an established high-grade underground mine located in North Queensland. Since commencing production in 1996, Eloise has produced more than 376,000 tonnes of copper and 195,000 ounces of gold. The mine currently produces approximately 12,500 tonnes of copper and 5,000 ounces of gold annually, with all ore processed on-site to yield a high-quality copper concentrate with valuable gold and silver by-products.
Looking ahead, AIC Mines is advancing the development of the nearby Jericho deposit, which is positioned to significantly extend the life and scale of Eloise. Development commenced in June 2024, including a 3-kilometre underground link drive connecting Jericho with Eloise. Concurrently, the Eloise processing plant is being expanded from 725,000 to 1.1 million tonnes per year to accommodate increased production. This integrated approach is transforming Eloise into a cornerstone asset, underpinning AIC Mines’ strategy for sustainable growth in the Australian resources industry.
